Surgery Overview
Breast lift surgery, or mastopexy, is similar to breast reduction. Dr. Sampson most often makes an incision known as an anchor incision from the areola down to the crease under the breast and outward on both sides. He removes excess skin that has sagged over the years, repositions the nipple and areola, and reshapes the breast by bringing down skin from around the nipple and stitching it together.
